Final Manuscript in Review, and Glory Card Preview
7 months ago – Wed, Jun 05, 2024 at 10:11:02 AM

Hey Everyone! We just want to give you a head's up as to the current status.

  • The full manuscript is compiled and in review making sure there are no missing sections, elements we're missing, or other hiccups in the document.
  • Next up is formal editing, and making any of those changes recommended by the editor.
  • The Graphic designer will then be laying the book out according to the syle guide we created when working on the Free RPG Day offering (BTW go support your local store and pick up a really cool Garbage & Glory quickstart during Free RPG Day JUNE 22, 2024...or come find us at booth 309 at Origins).
  • Dice and card art assets are in final review and being sent to the manufacturer soon. You've seen the preview of the Garbage cards, but scroll to the bottom to see some examples of the Glory cards.

Garbage Deck Art
7 months ago – Wed, May 22, 2024 at 05:52:57 AM

Hey all! We keep moving forward! We're doing some final testing and stuff before sending the text through the last round of editing and then to layout, but we also have been working on another development path for the final dice and card designs. We'll be able to show some more stuff (The Glory Deck) in the near future, but wanted to show you what will almost certainly be the final design for the Garbage Deck. The blue and green lines are print safety and bleed lines and will not be on the cards themselve. Check it out!

Garbage & Glory Content in Free RPG Day 2024 and Project Update
9 months ago – Tue, Apr 09, 2024 at 01:14:27 PM

Special Project Revealed!

Hey everyone! Remember how in the last update we revealed that we had been working on a special project around Garbage & Glory? Well, here you go!

Free RPG Day is a great opportunity to support your local stores while letting them know what kind of products and content you want to see them stock in the future. This annual event is JUNE 22, 2024 this year, right smack in the middle of Origins Game Fair. If you are going to Origins, you can pick this up from us or from the Free RPG Day booth. If you aren't going, try to get it from your local shop. Regardless, after the fact we'll have this up on DriveThruRPG for FREE, just like our offering from last year for Heckin' Good Doggos. Speaking of which, Heckin' Good Doggos is the Deal of the Day today on DriveThruRPG

Project Status

All that aside, the project is coming along with Matthew and the team wrapping up the last few bits of content for the core book. The great part about having the G&G Quickstart out of the way is that our graphic designer already has the template and style guide for the layout all set up, which should make that process pretty quick.

Sam is hard at work on the deck art and has done some concept art for the G&G Stretch Goals too, but we're making sure to focus on the core deliverables first. Speaking of concept art, here are some shots of some of Sam's early concept sketches for the card art. Of course all of these are subject to change, but he's doing a great job doodling a bunch of trash (but it's really pretty trash)

Special project in the works, and quick update
10 months ago – Wed, Feb 14, 2024 at 01:08:55 PM

Hey all! We want to let you know that we've been working on a special project with you all in mind over the past couple of weeks (once we can announce it, it will all make sense), and we've gotten a lot of things for the core book knocked out.

Like we mentioned in the last update, Sam is hard at work on new art, and we're hoping to get the card decks laid out once his art comes in. Even though this part is going a little slower than anticipated, we're working behind the scenes to get things at our warehouse and fulfillment partner unblocked and ready to go as soon as production is wrapped up and the items are shipped.

We'll keep you all in the loop each step of the way with production and proofing so you all can see how this goes with our factory partners. In the meantime, take a look at one of our character sheet concepts! We'll have printer friendly versions available too.

Stretch Goals, New Art, Zero Day War and a full Wet Ink Update!
11 months ago – Sat, Jan 13, 2024 at 08:34:02 AM

New stuff coming in!

Hey everyone! We're blasting through development for Garbage & Glory with writers sending in manuscript elements, Stretch Goals pouring in, and art for the Garbage & Glory Decks assigned. Sam Brieck Continues to make some amazing art (seriously if you aren't following him on Instagram you TOTALLY should). Check out one of our new favorites: The Goose Dragon

We have some special news coming up over then next couple months and we'll let you know what comes from some of these discussions, but it's pretty exciting here behind the scenes.

In the meantime, if you haven't finished your Backer Kit or if you're having trouble with it, please let us know and we'll work to get that resolved.

Zero Day War

Our next project takes a step away from our RPG roots into the realm of board/card games! Zero Day War is our latest Kickstarter from Wet Ink Games!!!

The year is 2461, and humanity has expanded beyond Earth and colonized Venus, Mars, and Titan. All communication and commerce between our four worlds have been conducted through the SysNet, a completely secure information and communication network. Without warning, the Sun erupted into activity, and volatile solar storms raged across our star’s surface while massive solar flares bombarded our system, knocking down the security protocols of the SysNet.

With its defenses down, hackers and government agencies alike descend upon the vulnerable data files, stealing everything they can before the security protocols engage and once again lock the system down.

Wet Ink Games Q1 Update

The Wet Ink Games crew is going to be making quarterly updates about our ongoing projects, things coming down road, cool news, convention events etc. We'll be posting them on our social media channels and our YouTube Channel, so if you haven't been following any of those, you should check them out so you can stay in the loop! The first one is right here and has some great bits of info!
